Stourbridge Super Saturday

On Saturday, I joined Margot James, the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate in Stourbridge for a morning of campaigning. In addition to local association members, there was extra help in the form of neighbouring associations. Julie Kirkbride, the Conservative MP for Bromsgrove and James Morris, our candidate in Halesowen and Rowley Regis, both brought several people over. The turnout was great and we managed to achieve a great deal in a few hours. With so many people, we had alot of fun.

Most of us then had a hearty lunch at the excellent Crabmill Pub on Hagley Road. It was good to catch up with some old friends and compare notes on how our respective campaigns were going. But we were really there to support Margot, whose business experience and record of community service will be a huge asset in Parliament.
