No trouble, no trouble in thy breast
Remember me, remember me, but ah! forget my fate
Remember me, but ah! forget my fate
Dido's Lament from the opera Dido and Æneas by Henry Purcell
Ninety years ago, at the 11th hour in the 11th month, World War I hostilities ended. Today, up and down the country, people remembered the brave soldiers who have suffered and given their lives for the peace and liberty we enjoy today, the generations who fought for our country during both world wars and those who continue to serve our country. We are forever in their debt.
